The procession will depart from Avenida de Italia, although unlike other years, it will start at Gánigo Street, in front of the Los Cactus Apartments, just a few meters from the Plaza Maspalomas Shopping Center.
The parade will complete the entire length of Gran Canaria Avenue and end at the roundabout that connects it to the long descent of Avenida Touroperador Tui.
Tomorrow is the big day: the Grand Parade of the 2025 Maspalomas International Carnival. Around 400.000 people are expected to participate. The Grand Parade, which begins at 17:00 p.m., will be broadcast live on RTVE en Canarias and Televisión Canaria. The route will depart, as is traditional, from Avenida de Italia; however, due to the increased number of floats, it will begin at Calle Gánigo, in front of the Los Cactus Apartments, a few meters from the Plaza Maspalomas Shopping Center. There, it will turn right and continue along Avenida de Gran Canaria until its end at the roundabout where Avenida 8 de Marzo and Tour Operador Tui meet (also home to a Spar supermarket).
Thus, the parade will cover nearly 3 kilometers through the heart of Playa del Inglés. Of these, the vast majority (2,8 km) will be along Avenida de Gran Canaria, so the procession will pass, as usual, in front of the Chaparral Shopping Center, the Hábitat and Los Molinos buildings, and the Mercurio building.
Public transport stops
Regarding public transport, a bus stop will be opened on Avd. de Tirajana near Plaza del Hierro, between Bazar Ani and the Ronda Shopping Center. The usual bus stop at Viuda de Franco and the bus stop on Avd. de España (in front of the Atindana Apartments, near the Prisma Shopping Center) will also be operational. There will also be three dedicated taxi stops in Playa del Inglés: 1) by the Iguazú Apartments, 2) on Av. EEUU (next to the beach bars on that street), and 3) Av. 8 de Marzo (in front of the Buenos Aires Apartments).
The party continues this Friday and Saturday
This Friday, Carnival in the Sun will be held at the Playa del Inglés Annex from 14:30 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. The party continues at the Yumbo Shopping Center, where the Tourist Gala will begin at 21:00 p.m., followed by a huge party with DJ Sammyto (23:00 p.m. to 01:30 a.m.) and Línea DJ (until 04:00 a.m.). DJ Ruyman Melián and DJ Ardi will be playing in the beach bar area.
On Saturday, after the Grand Parade, DJ Promaster will perform until midnight, then a Star Music concert will begin until 02:00 a.m. Finally, it's Toni Bob and DJ Zek's turn until 05:00 a.m.
