The weather will change again in southern Gran Canaria during the last few days of next week. The AEMET forecast indicates increased cloudiness, light to moderate rain, and wind in areas of the south and southeast of the island.
During the week of April 7-13, 2025, variable weather conditions are expected in southern Gran Canaria. At the beginning of the week, skies will be mostly clear, with maximum temperatures around 22-24°C and minimum temperatures between 10-13°C. The wind will be moderate from the west, tending to decrease to light from the morning, except for moderate intervals on the southeast and northern slopes of the island. Starting Wednesday, increased cloudiness is expected with occasional rain and a drop in maximum temperatures to 17-20°C.
The Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a change in weather conditions starting Wednesday, April 9, with overcast skies and increased instability in Gran Canaria. The southeast and tourist areas such as Maspalomas could experience light to moderate rainfall, especially over the weekend.

Temperatures will experience a significant drop, especially in the highs, with cooler temperatures in coastal and mid-mountain areas. Meanwhile, southwesterly winds will strengthen starting Friday, with strong gusts in high altitudes and strong gusts on exposed slopes.
