A 17-year-old motorcyclist crashed on the GC-60 highway, at kilometer 45, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The young man was taken to Dr. Negrín Hospital in serious condition.
A 17-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after falling on the GC-60 highway, at kilometer 45, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The incident occurred at 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, according to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated the young man, who suffered severe multiple injuries. After being stabilized by medical personnel at the scene, he was transported by medical ambulance to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
CECOES 112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources after receiving the alert. A basic life support ambulance and a medical ambulance from the SUC, as well as Civil Guard officers, were dispatched to the scene.
The Civil Guard has initiated the corresponding investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
