A man died this Sunday, April 13, after falling off his motorcycle on the GC-200 highway, at kilometer 45, in the Gran Canaria municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás. The accident occurred at 14:20 p.m.
According to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112, an alert was received at the indicated time reporting the fall of a motorcyclist who required urgent attention on the aforementioned road.
The CECOES immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), with a medically equipped ambulance, and a doctor from the La Aldea Health Center arrived at the scene to assist the victim. After verifying that the man was in cardiac arrest, they performed advanced CPR, but without success, confirming his death at the scene.
