A fire at the Shell gas station sign, located across from the Mogán Mall, has caused alarm among residents and passersby in Puerto Rico's tourist area.
The incident occurred this Wednesday on the well-known Mogán Avenue, when a fire broke out at the Shell gas station sign located directly across from the Mogán Mall shopping center. The rapid spread of the flames caused a stir in the area, given the usual traffic of people and vehicles.
Members of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, based in Puerto Rico, were dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire. Officers from the Mogán Local Police and the Puerto Rican Civil Guard also assisted in the response, securing the perimeter and controlling traffic while the firefighting efforts were underway.
