The celebration of these festivities has the financial support of the Department of Festivities and Events of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, which this year has strengthened its commitment to popular culture by allocating a significantly larger budget than in previous years. In 2025, the amount for subsidies for popular festivals has increased to €300.000—compared to €180.000 the previous year—which will allow nearly twenty community committees and groups in the municipality to cover part of the costs involved in organizing their patron saint celebrations.
In this regard, the Councilor for Celebrations and Events, Yilenia Vega, especially highlighted "the work of the festival committees and associations, such as Ayagaures, whose selfless efforts contribute not only to preserving popular customs but also to strengthening community ties in every corner of the municipality." The Fiestas del Niño Dios (Baby Jesus Festival) are, thus, a reflection of the collective effort to keep traditions alive and energize the social and cultural life of this very special enclave of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
