The Departments of Roads and Works and Parks and Gardens have been working on a plan to improve and spruce up the town's public spaces over the last two weeks.
Municipal workers from the Departments of Roads and Public Works and Parks and Gardens are carrying out various renovation, improvement, and beautification projects in public spaces in El Tablero ahead of the upcoming celebration of its festivities in honor of the Holy Trinity, which will take place from May 8 to 18, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the construction of the church and its parish center.
The work plan drawn up by the councils led by Araceli Armas Cruz and supervised by Eduardo Armas Herrera began on April 22nd on the slope leading up to the village from the Health Center (Data de Los Tableros), with the clearing and removal of weeds and the restoration of the concrete guardrails.
The project also included repairing the benches and repainting the protective fence on Avenida del Barranco; pruning and clearing the trees in the Plaza de la Iglesia, Plaza del Pilar, and Plaza de Pepe el Barbero; and beautifying the entire central reservation and the two roundabouts on Avenida Francisco Vega Monroy, which connects El Tablero and Sonnenland.
