El Tablero is now ready to celebrate its traditional festivities in honor of the Holy Trinity, which will take place from May 2025th to 8th in 18. The program was officially presented at a moving ceremony held at the entrance to the Church of El Tablero, a hub of popular devotion and which this year commemorates the 25th anniversary of its construction. For this reason, the presentation took on special significance. The event was attended by the Councilor for Festivities and Events, Yilenia Vega; the Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez; and the parish priest, Pedro L. Martínez, who highlighted the historical, social, and religious value of these festivities and underlined the pivotal role they play for the people of El Tablero.

During the presentation, Pérez emphasized the importance of the church as a symbol of unity and collective effort. "These celebrations are even more special because we are commemorating our church's 25th anniversary, and that speaks of unity, struggle, and dedication on the part of an entire community. This church has provided a tremendous amount of service during this time," she noted. For her part, the Councilor for Celebrations and Events expressed her gratitude for the participation of neighbors, groups, and associations in the construction of the church and the organization of the festivities, as well as for the presence of the building's architect, Alejandro García, who was present at the event alongside the women's group "La Cuadrilla" that participated in the event.

There will be no shortage of afternoons with zanga tournaments, dominoes, and the traditional tortilla-making competition, "classic social gatherings that are held at the request of the residents, and where they are the protagonists," explained Councilor Yilenia Vega, who highlighted the fundamental role of the neighborhood's social fabric. "Thanks to the festival committee, the cultural associations, and everyone who participates year after year, these festivals are an example of citizen participation, coexistence, and teamwork. Parish priest Pedro L. Martínez, in his speech, evoked the spiritual and communal significance of this anniversary: “In 25 years, we have seen how this church has grown with the faith, effort, and dedication of many people. Beyond beliefs, this church is the fruit of a people who have been able to unite for something that benefits everyone.” To commemorate this anniversary, the photography exhibition "14th Anniversary of the Construction of the Parish Center and Church of the Holy Trinity of El Tablero" will be inaugurated on Wednesday the 25th. It will take place at the center itself, at 19:30 p.m.
