In light of recent statements from the municipal opposition regarding the status of the Siam Park project, Davinia Ramírez, Councilor for Urban Planning of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, warns that "politics is not done with opportunistic headlines or selective neglect, but with work and results." In this regard, the councilor for the area first expresses her gratitude for "the opposition's renewed interest in the future of Siam Park" but reminds them that "it would be more honest to acknowledge that part of the uncertainty surrounding this project stems from the poor management of the previous term, when Ms. Narváez was Mayor."
In this sense, he clarifies with data, verifiable facts and a sense of responsibility that "since we took over the Urban Planning department in June 2023, the current governing group has responded with management, carrying out all the necessary procedures in just two years. To summarize, Ramirez highlighted: in jJune 2024 The start of the work was unanimously approved in the Plenary Session of the City Council processing of the new El Veril Modernization Plan, correcting the errors of the previous stage.
