Maspalomas Pride by Freedom is gearing up for the most intense days of its program, with the Drag Contest, the Foam Party at the Yumbo, the Fashion Show, the Drag Race contest, the Freedom Awards gala, the Literature Awards, the 'Sundance' party with Soraya and the multitudinous Float Parade, with the participation of 42 decorated vehicles, which will display the colors of the rainbow, along with messages and phrases of freedom and defense of the rights of the LGTBIQA+ community.

The Diverse Literature area in Yumbo Plaza will host book presentations, starting at 20:00 p.m., by Ismael Lozano (May 7 and 11), who will sign copies of his novel 'Playa del Inglés', and by Quico Marco, who will sign his work 'Maricón de libro' (May 8).
This Wednesday, May 7, Yumbo Plaza will host the Foam Party in a giant pool, where attendees can spend a few hours of fun, starting at 13:00 PM, with music provided by DJs Carlos Salinas, José Lagares, and Joseph Wolf.
Starting at 21:00 PM, music will be the star of the 'Wednesday Pride Night Live!' gala, sponsored by Viajes Canarias Europa, hosted by Roberto Herrera and Jia Miles, followed by a performance by Donna Marie, a tribute to Lady Gaga and the Drag Queen Contestants. The 'Fiesta Arena. Puerto del Carmen, Mexico' (starting at midnight), with DJs Romero and José Rendón.
On Thursday, May 8th, the 'Wet & Hairy, The Official Bears Pool Party' is scheduled for 13:00 PM at the AxelBeach Maspalomas Hotel, with DJ Paky Chulo, and the 'Dirty West Freedom Party' (14:00 PM to 21:00 PM) at the Sioux City, Sala Oasis Gran Canaria, with DJs Jonatan Tamayo, Marc, and Shantox. The 'Thursday Pride Night Live!' gala, sponsored by Gran Canaria Tourism, will kick off on the Yumbo stage. Fruela and Rubén Dizá will present the event, followed by a Lucy Rose tribute to Britney Spears, a Code22 fashion show, and the Drag Race competition. The El Mozo Colombia 'Mad Max' party kicks off at midnight, with music curated by DJs Mars and Joseph Wolf.
On Friday, May 9, Maspalomas Pride by Freedom and Siete Islas publishing house will announce the winner and finalist of the 2025 Diverse Literature Award.
The "Sundance" party, which last year brought together more than 3.000 people at the Ocean Club Maspalomas pool, will feature singer Soraya as a guest artist, celebrating 20 years in the music business. This event (from 12:00 to 22:00) will feature dance music provided by DJs San Keryton, José Rendón, Brav Iván Pequeño, and Adham.
As every year, the pool at the Hotel AxelBeach Maspalomas will host the 'Lady's Pool Party' (13:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m.), with DJs: Exóticas, Vanesa Fernández, Anita Fermosel and Nuria Scarp.
