The Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce has opened the application period for the Global SME 2025 initiative, an initiative aimed at companies in the south of the island interested in attending the World Travel Market London (WTM), one of the most important international events in the tourism sector, which will take place from November 4 to 6, 2025, at the ExCeL venue in London. This initiative, 85% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Global SME program, aims to boost the internationalization of Gran Canaria's business community, facilitating access to new markets and generating business opportunities in a global environment.
Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically through the Chamber's website before 14:2025 p.m. on October 15, 00. Mandatory documentation includes: a declaration of compliance with the conditions (Annex), a power of attorney and company tax identification number (NIF), an average workforce report, a document proving annual turnover, data on the company's activity and the participant in the initiative, and evaluation indicators such as the number of employees, percentage of women on the staff, and turnover and export volume.
