Fimar is the great event for the blue economy in the Canary Islands. On the other hand, and as is already tradition, the International Sea Fair will have the representation of a guest city, which on this occasion will be Ericeira: a coastal town located 35 kilometres from Lisbon, designated as a World Surf Reserve by the non-governmental organisation Save the Waves CoaliGony which, like Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is part of the World Surf CiGes Network, the global network of surf cities.
