More than 500 people enjoyed the fun High Heel Race, one of the most popular events in the 'Maspalomas Pride for Freedom' program. The race took place on the test track set up in the Plaza del Yumbo. The fastest 'high heel runner' was a German tourist who participated under the name 'Sandra Bullock', who received the prize of 300 euros and the applause of the public, who had fun from the beginning of the event, which was enlivened and presented by Isabella and Punto, with their characteristic humor, and the collaboration of several drag hostesses.

The five participants, four men and one woman, had to navigate the course on their heels, testing their speed, endurance, and agility in high heels. First, the runners completed two laps of the course, followed by the gymkhana tests. They either rode in a sack, in high heels, picking up carrots from the ground, or transformed into a turtle on a skate, before jumping through hoops.
