In addition, 20 island municipalities will participate, demonstrating the institutional commitment to local products. The list is completed by key entities such as Mataderos Insulares de Gran Canaria, Agrícola del Norte (Lairaga), the Coordinator of Farmers and Ranchers Organizations (COAG-Canarias), El Cardón, ARISTEO, and Viveros Fataga, among others.

Gastronomic exhibitions

Regarding gastronomy, renowned chefs and industry professionals will be hosting an intense program of exhibitions throughout the weekend in Pavilion 5, some of them sponsored by Hiperdino, in which they will share techniques, creative fusions, and inspiration based on local produce.

One of the most anticipated exhibitions will be that of renowned Michelin-starred chef Jordi Cruz, a culinary professional known for his work at the helm of restaurants such as ABaC (Barcelona) and for his role as a judge on the television show 'Master Chef'. On Saturday afternoon, May 10th, the Catalan chef will showcase his ability to fuse tradition with the avant-garde, combining technical precision with creativity, which has made him a leading figure on the international culinary scene in recent years.

In addition to this, Infecar has organized numerous activities for all audiences, including children's workshops promoted and organized by the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce and in collaboration with the Gran Canaria Economic Promotion Society (SPEGC). Highlights include those offered by chef Valentina Salazar (winner of MasterChef Junior 11), as well as initiatives such as the "Fruit Art" workshop sponsored by SPAR Gran Canaria.

As a new feature, this year the fair will host an Employment and Gastronomy Meeting for the first time, a joint initiative with the Gran Canaria Chamber of Commerce and the Innova Gastrocan Cluster, which will foster contact between students and industry professionals.

Tickets to the Gran Canaria Me Gusta Fair, which will be held from May 9 to 11 at Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, have a symbolic price of 1,50 euros and can be purchased at the box office or on the official website feriagrancanariamegusta.es, where the full program is also available.
