The town of El Tablero once again dressed up for the holiday this Saturday to celebrate its traditional Pilgrimage and Offering in honor of the Holy Trinity, an event filled with emotion, folklore, and neighborly spirit that brought together residents, visitors, and groups from all corners of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

At 18:00 p.m., the procession set off from the pharmacy entrance on Brasil Street, with the "Romero" (Row of the Rosemary's Wand) in the hands of Trina Ravelo Ramírez, representative of the Parish Center's Works Commission, and the 2025 Pilgrims of Honor, who this year paid tribute to the 25th anniversary of the construction of the Parish Center and Church of the Holy Trinity (2000–2025). The opening parade featured the moving performance of the women of "La Cuadrilla" (The Squad), wearing the Canarian mantilla, a symbol of respect and elegance, accompanied by the parish community. The San Bartolomé de Tirajana Municipal Music School then provided the melodic note that set the mood for the entire procession.

The procession passed through the neighborhood's most emblematic streets: ascending El Tablero Avenue, crossing Buenos Aires Street, descending Venezuela Street, and ending in front of the church in the central plaza. Throughout the procession, 18 beautifully decorated carts offered traditional products, flowers, and joy, representing the municipality's various neighborhoods, cultural groups, and neighborhood associations.

Neighbors dressed in traditional Canarian attire with hats, vests, colorful skirts, and shawls happily shared wine, sweets, and laughter in a festive atmosphere.

Following the Mass, the institutional Floral Offering began, led by the Mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez; and the Councilor for Celebrations and Events, Yilenia Vega, along with the rest of the city council and representatives from the municipality's 13 neighborhoods. "This symbolic gesture evoked past neighborhood visits and the recovery of collective memory, as has been promoted since the 2024 edition," explained Yilenia Vega. Each cart, in order of passage, also made its offering before the image of the Holy Trinity, in an act charged with emotion and devotion.

Once the offerings were over, the celebration continued in the sports pavilion area, where pilgrims, residents, and groups gathered to enjoy the grand Romero dance, accompanied by two popular parrandas that kept everyone singing and dancing well into the night.

The event was a true demonstration of the community spirit, love for traditions, and warmth that characterizes El Tablero. A celebration that not only looks back on the past with respect, but also strengthens present ties and projects a future of unity and joy.
