A 25-year-old motorcyclist died this Wednesday after falling on the GC-192 road, near the access to Burrero beach, in the Gran Canaria municipality of Ingenio.
The incident occurred at 17:02 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, when the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 received an alert reporting a motorcyclist who had fallen on the GC-192 road, near the access to Burrero beach. 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) found that the victim, a 25-year-old man, had injuries incompatible with life, and his death was confirmed. The Ingenio Local Police collaborated with the emergency services by regulating traffic, while the Civil Guard conducted the corresponding investigation.
The emergency operation included a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the SUC, as well as local police and Civil Guard personnel.
