Playa del Inglés will have a new scenic meeting point: the Tobo Playa viewpoint, an initiative promoted by the Maspalomas Consortium to enhance one of the most iconic tourist spots in southern Gran Canaria. This new public space, designed as a balcony overlooking the ocean, was created with the aim of improving the quality of the urban environment and offering residents and visitors a privileged place to relax, stroll, and contemplate the landscape.
The project includes a modern, accessible viewing platform perfectly integrated into the coastal aesthetic, with street furniture, shaded areas, native vegetation, and carefully curated nighttime lighting. More than just a project, Tobo Playa represents a commitment to the regeneration of Playa del Inglés' tourism sector, providing it with a new attraction that reinforces its value as a sustainable, safe, and high-quality destination. The project is part of a broader plan to renovate strategic public spaces promoted by the Maspalomas Consortium in conjunction with other government agencies.
