The Eurovision Song Contest final will be broadcast live this Saturday on the big screen installed in Plaza del Yumbo. The performances of all the participating artists will also be followed, along with support for singer Melody, who will represent Spain with the song "Esa Diva."

This free Gala, open to all ages, is organized by the Freedom LGBTI Association, in collaboration with the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, Televisión Española en Canaria, and Sonocon, in addition to sponsorship from Coca-Cola, Absolut, Hotel Ritual, MusicMeets Tourism, and SAMUR Salvamento y Rescate. All the sponsoring companies of Maspalomas Pride have made the event possible with their support.

The show, which begins at 19:00 p.m., will feature dancers and dance music, revisiting songs that have participated in Eurovision, and a variety of music to liven up the atmosphere. The Yumbo Plaza will be decorated with multicolored flags in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is the first time a Eurovision Gala has been held in Gran Canaria.

Roberto Herrera and Jia Miles will introduce the performances of the representatives from the 27 countries participating in the final, which will be broadcast on Televisión Española starting at 20:00 PM. The presenters at the Yumbo gala will provide all the details of each artist's performances, especially Melody's participation. As a surprise, the Sevillian singer will appear on the Yumbo screen to deliver a message, recorded in Basel, in which Melody expressed her gratitude for the support of the Maspalomas audience.

After the gala, the party will continue in Yumbo Plaza with music curated by DJs San Keryton, Jonay BJ, and Sergio Tyler.

The Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast live on Spanish Television, is one of the most important annual events for music lovers. This year, the festival is held in the Swiss city of Basel. As many as 37 countries are competing to reach the Eurovision Song Contest grand final, but only 26 will be the lucky ones. As every year, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, along with Switzerland as the host nation, will advance to the final without facing off in a semifinal.

The non-profit LGBTI Freedom Association has organized this gala on the Yumbo stage as a symbol and protest against the ban that the festival organizers have imposed on participants, who are only allowed to display the flags of their countries while on stage, excluding the multicolored flag of the LGBTI groups, which has been allowed to be displayed in other editions.

Freedom LGBTI Association would like to thank Spanish Television in the Canary Islands for its unconditional support, both in the celebration of Maspalomas Pride by Freedom, and in this Gala to watch the Eurovision final live, as well as the National Police and the Local Police of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
