The solidarity campaign will take place on May 23, 24, and 25 through various food collection points throughout the SPAR supermarket network.

SPAR Gran Canaria stores are becoming charity centers this weekend for the Spring Collection, an initiative promoted by the Las Palmas Food Bank, in which the chain is once again involved with the aim of supporting the island's most vulnerable families.
The campaign is already underway and will run until Sunday, May 25. During that weekend, SPAR customers can donate non-perishable items such as oil, milk, canned fish and meat, legumes, rice, pasta, water, coffee, and cocoa, among others.
In 2024, SPAR Gran Canaria managed to collect 28.863 kilos of food donations through this same initiative. This year, the supermarket chain aims to exceed that figure and continue contributing to those most in need, maintaining a growth path that reflects the shared social commitment between SPAR Gran Canaria and its customers.
For 25 years, the company has contributed to food collection campaigns and also makes direct and regular donations to the Las Palmas Food Bank. In 2024, SPAR Gran Canaria collected more than 57.900 kilos of charitable goods through its food collection campaigns.
With the Spring Harvest, SPAR Gran Canaria renews its commitment to collective well-being and maintains its commitment to social responsibility. This initiative is part of a broader plan to support social organizations and charitable campaigns that will run throughout 2025, with the aim of continuing to generate a positive impact on the island.
