A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries after being involved in a traffic accident with an unidentified vehicle on the GC-1 motorway, northbound, near San Agustín, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana
The accident occurred on the night of Thursday, May 22, 2025, on the northbound GC-1 highway, near the tourist center of San Agustín. The motorcyclist involved, a 44-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries. The vehicle he collided with was not located at the scene.
Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) personnel quickly arrived at the scene, activating a basic life support ambulance and a medical ambulance. After initial treatment at the scene, the injured man was transferred to the Gran Canaria University Hospital for specialized care.
The Civil Guard Traffic Department took charge of the report and began investigating the incident and locating the driver of the vehicle involved. The road remained open during the operation, causing no significant traffic incidents.
