Audit of the FEHT of Las Palmas: presents annual accounts with a favorable opinion and without qualifications

The latest balance sheet of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism Companies reflects a significant change in the structure of its assets. The balance sheet for the 2023 financial year, signed in 2024 and published in the spring of 2025, of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism Companies reflects total assets of €1.424.594,92, compared to €2.038.337,20 in 2022. The auditors at Gutiérrez y Asociados indicated in their latest report that everything is correct and in compliance with regulations, with no formal warnings or recommendations.

Non-current assets stood at €1.062.206,70 in 2023, a slight decrease compared to the €1.103.398,48 of the previous year. Within this item, intangible assets maintain a net value of zero euros, due to accumulated amortization equal to the gross value of industrial property and computer software. Tangible fixed assets reached a balance of €812.115,55, lower than the €853.307,33 of the previous year. Details include land and natural resources valued at €555.300, buildings at €943.744,42, and various accumulated amortizations.

Long-term financial investments remain constant at €250.091,15. Current assets decreased to €362.388,22 in 2023, compared to €934.938,72 in 2022. Trade and other receivables amounted to €27.798,41, broken down into users and other debtors of €12.031,60 and other receivables of €15.766,81. Short-term financial investments decreased to €145.321,93, and cash and cash equivalents decreased to €189.259,46.

Regarding recorded expenses, leases and royalties amounted to -713,28 euros, compared to -476,43 euros in 2022. Repairs and maintenance totaled -2.595,86 euros (compared to -3.620,78 euros), while independent professional services amounted to -27.639,80 euros, lower than the -36.634,63 euros of the previous year. Subsidy management professionals recorded an expense of -72.600 euros. Insurance premiums amounted to -2.800,86 euros, banking and similar services accounted for -1.307,48 euros, and advertising, propaganda, and public relations totaled -22.358,04 euros, to which was added -62.834,11 euros corresponding to tourism advertising subsidized by the Canary Islands Government. Supplies recorded a decrease of -1.741,74 euros and other services totaled -51.796,22 euros.
