More than 50% of reservations in Maspalomas are all-inclusive, according to the latest data from Dingus DataHotel, accessed this Monday by Maspalomas24H. Couples and families continue to be the majority of tourists choosing the south of Gran Canaria. Thus, Maspalomas is once again positioned as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Canary Islands for the second half of 2025. According to analysis by the Dingus DataHotel platform, 726.775 hotel reservations were registered for the period between June and December of this year, representing an increase of 0,47% compared to the same period in 2024, with more than 5,78 million overnight stays.

Maspalomas stands out alongside Costa Adeje, Playa Blanca, and Puerto de la Cruz as one of the areas with the highest volume of reservations. This leadership reinforces the position of southern Gran Canaria as a driving force of tourism in the Canary Islands. All-inclusive is the most popular option for tourists booking in Maspalomas, accounting for over 51% of hotel reservations. Half-board is next (23,27%), confirming a clear preference for highly comfortable options and planned spending.

Furthermore, 80,8% of reservations are made between three and 3 months in advance, indicating a high level of planning on the part of visitors and strong loyalty to Maspalomas as a holiday destination. More than 12% of hotel reservations in the Canary Islands for this period come from tour operators such as Jet44holidays, TUI UK, and TUI Germany, with a particular emphasis on destinations like Maspalomas. Online agencies account for 2%, followed by direct sales (27,2%) and DMCs (11,9%), indicating a balanced diversification of tourism distribution channels.

Couples are the main booking segment, accounting for over 50% of the total, while families account for between 12% and 14%. This pattern is consistent throughout the Canary Islands, but has a particular impact in areas like Maspalomas, where the tourism offering is perfectly suited to both profiles. The use of technological tools like Dingus SmartChannelManager allows accommodations to optimize their distribution strategy and maintain Maspalomas among the most competitive tourist destinations in Europe. In the case of southern Gran Canaria, the all-inclusive model, anticipation, and international connectivity consolidate it as the Canary Islands' leading tourist destination for the remainder of 2025.
