Maspalomas Costa Canaria has revalidated its seven Blue Flags this year, consolidating its commitment to environmental excellence, the quality of its services, and the sustainability of its coastline. Four beaches in the municipality—Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés, San Agustín, and Meloneras—will once again fly this international award, recognizing their optimal safety, accessibility, environmental management, and service conditions.
In addition, two of the municipality's interpretation centers have also renewed their Blue Flag status: the Educational Classroom at Tony Gallardo Park, located in the Maspalomas Oasis Reserve, and the Dunes Interpretation Center, key spaces for environmental education and natural conservation. The Pasito Blanco marina completes the list of award winners, once again standing out for its sustainable management and the quality of its facilities.
The Blue Flags were officially received by the First Deputy Mayor, Alejandro Marichal, and the Councilor for Beach Cleaning, Ruymán Cardoso, who highlighted the coordinated work of municipal services and the civic commitment that makes it possible to maintain these international quality standards.
