Alicia Fajardo emerged last weekend as the undisputed winner of the IX Bungalows Vistaflor Tournament, the fourth qualifying event of the XXVII Maspalomas Golf Cup Circuit 2025. With an exceptional score of -5, this talented golfer (-2.9 handicap) dominated the scratch category, adding 41 points on the sunny Saturday at Maspalomas Golf, an event that brought together 116 enthusiastic players.
The day was accompanied by radiant sunshine, creating perfect conditions for the tournament. In the 1st category, Luis Román Roca (7.5) won with 39 points, while Rafael Fajardo (0.3) came in second with 38. In the 2nd category, Juan Carlos Aranda (10.3) won with 40 points, closely followed by Porfirio Casado (9.6 to 8.8) with 39. In the 3rd category, Evelin Ludtke (21.7) stood out with 42 points, with Neil Hendricks in second place with 41. In addition, Thor Hellenaes received the award for first senior finish.
The winners not only secured their place in the Grand Final of the Tour, scheduled for Sunday, August 31 at Maspalomas Golf, but also received vouchers for stays at Bungalows Vistaflor, green fees for future rounds at Maspalomas Golf, and a selection of golf equipment from top brands such as Titleist, Taylor Made, and Galvin Green. The awards ceremony also recognized the longest drive, which went to Javier de Bethencourt in the men's category and Alicia Fajardo in the women's category.
