A 70-year-old woman recovered from cardiorespiratory arrest after being rescued from the sea, was transferred in serious condition by medical ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
At around 11,30:1 a.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-2-XNUMX of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a woman was being rescued from the sea by some bathers and upon the arrival of the resources it is verified that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The SUC ambulance team performed basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on her, managing to recover her pulse, so once she was stabilized they proceeded to transfer her to the hospital.
Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
