The incident occurred at noon this Wednesday in a parking lot on Avenida de Tejeda. The injured person was evacuated by medical helicopter to the Insular Hospital after being treated by the SUC (Medical Unit for the Unemployed).
A 28-year-old man has been seriously injured after being stabbed in San Fernando, San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The incident occurred at 12:43 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in a parking area on Avenida de Tejeda. The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 received an alert call requesting urgent medical assistance.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) mobilized a medical ambulance, a basic life support ambulance, and a medical helicopter. Medical personnel treated the injured man on the scene and, after initial stabilization, he was transferred to the Maspalomas Health Center. From there, due to the severity of his injuries, he was evacuated by medical helicopter to the Gran Canaria University Hospital.

Fire and Rescue Service personnel from San Bartolomé de Tirajana secured the area to facilitate the helicopter's landing. The Local Police collaborated with the responding services, while the National Police took over the investigation and are conducting the corresponding proceedings.
