Transavia Airlines will launch a new direct route between Bordeaux (BOD) and Gran Canaria (LPA) on December 20, 2025. This connection will operate weekly, on Saturdays, departing Bordeaux at 06:10 a.m. and arriving at Gran Canaria Airport at 08:40 a.m. The return flight will depart the same day from the island at 09:25 a.m., landing in the French city at 13:55 p.m.
Meanwhile, airBaltic has reduced its operations at Gran Canaria Airport for the winter of 2025/26, reducing its operations from two to a single aircraft based on the island. However, it will maintain a network of connections to several European destinations, including scheduled flights and seasonal charters.
On Mondays, the regular service between Gran Canaria and Riga (Latvia) will operate, departing from LPA at 08:10 a.m. and arriving in Riga at 16:05 p.m. The return flight will depart Riga at 17:05 p.m., landing in Gran Canaria at 21:30 p.m.
On Tuesdays, airBaltic will operate charter flights in two different periods: from December 23 to January 27, it will connect Gran Canaria with Inverness (Scotland), departing at 09:00 a.m. and returning at 14:50 p.m.; and from February 17 to March 17, it will connect with Guernsey (Channel Islands), departing from LPA at 10:00 a.m. and returning from the British Isles at 14:50 p.m.
On Wednesdays, a new route to Molde (Norway) will be launched. The flight will depart from Gran Canaria at 08:10 a.m., arriving in Molde at 14:50 p.m. The return flight will be at 15:50 p.m., with an expected arrival at 20:30 p.m.
On Thursdays, the airline will maintain its connection to Tallinn (Estonia), departing from LPA at 08:10 a.m. and returning at 17:05 p.m. On the same day, it will also operate a new route to Ljubljana (Slovenia), departing from Gran Canaria at 07:40 a.m. and returning from Slovenia at 14:20 p.m. Additionally, on Thursday nights, it will operate a flight to Vilnius (Lithuania), departing from LPA at 19:15 p.m. and arriving at 03:15 a.m. the following day. The return flight from Vilnius is scheduled for 04:00 a.m., landing in Gran Canaria at 08:10 a.m.
On Saturdays, airBaltic will connect Gran Canaria with Oslo-Torp (Norway). The flight will depart from LPA at 09:40 a.m. and land at 16:00 p.m., returning from Norway at 16:55 p.m. and landing on the island at 21:35 p.m.
Finally, on Sundays, the route to Billund (Denmark) will continue, departing Gran Canaria at 08:10 a.m. and arriving at 14:05 p.m. The return flight will depart at 15:05 p.m., landing in LPA at 19:20 p.m.
On the other hand, routes to Copenhagen (CPH) and Tampere (TMP) have been cancelled, as they are not included in the booking system for this season.
