Grupo Valladares accelerates its growth in southern Gran Canaria: new service point in Maspalomas

Grupo Valladares, one of the most established automotive spare parts distributors in the Canary Islands, is stepping up its customer service strategy with the opening of a new service point in Maspalomas, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. This new branch, located in the Nilo Shopping Center, represents a firm step in the group's expansion, which already has 14 service points spread equally between the two Canary Islands provinces.

The opening of this store under the Valladares Canarias brand responds to a latent demand in one of the archipelago's busiest tourist and economic areas. With it, the group strengthens its presence in southern Gran Canaria and is strategically positioned to more quickly serve workshops and professionals in San Fernando, El Tablero, Arguineguín, and Mogán.

"We've been looking for a location that would allow us to be closer to the workshops in the south for years. Today, that project is a reality," emphasizes Carlos Santana, head of Valladares Canarias in the province of Las Palmas.

The new headquarters, which took nearly eight months to prepare, meets the group's image and operational standards. Equipped to meet the demands of a modern workshop from day one, it features a catalog of leading brands—Delphi, SKF, Mecafilter, and Wolf—and offers comprehensive solutions in spare parts, lubricants, tools, and diagnostics.

"Whatever the customer requests, they have it in their workshop immediately," says Miguel Rodríguez, the person directly responsible for the new branch, who highlights the group's refined logistics as one of its greatest assets.

With this opening, Grupo Valladares—a member of Groupauto Unión Ibérica (GAUIb)—consolidates a growth model based on regional reach, operational efficiency, and direct contact with the workshop. Beyond strengthening its sales, the new store contributes to local economic development by creating jobs and boosting the professional ecosystem in the southern part of the island.

The move fits with a clear trend in the aftermarket: the commitment to decentralized structures capable of responding quickly to an increasingly demanding vehicle fleet, in a context of intense competition and technological transformation.

Thus, with more than half a century of experience, Grupo Valladares reaffirms its commitment to the Canary Islands workshop and its vocation for leadership in a sector that adapts, evolves, and, as this new opening demonstrates, never stops moving.
