The Castillo del Romeral Wrestling Club is responsible for implementing this project, which was initiated by the Vice President of the Gran Canaria Island Council and funded by the Vice President's Office. The project aims to promote the local sport and disseminate Gran Canarian culture and traditions in hotels in the south and southwest of the island. In this way, wrestlers perform exhibitions in various venues in the tourist area, showcasing the history and values of Canarian wrestling.
A representative of the Castillo del Romeral Wrestling Club team performed a Canarian wrestling exhibition yesterday afternoon in the Annex II area of Playa del Inglés in front of Augusto Hidalgo and Carlos Álamo, to the curious attention of numerous tourists.
