The Pérez Moreno company has been awarded the contract to build the new Arguineguín Study and Art Center, with an investment of €3.563.985,79. This cultural and educational facility, promoted by the Mogán City Council, will be located on a 1.675-square-meter plot behind the Arguineguín Health Center and Lidia-Pulido Secondary School, very close to the town's Multipurpose Center.
The building will have two floors that will house complementary services: the lower floor will house the headquarters of the Mogán Art Schools (EEAA), with spacious classrooms for dance, theater, music, and singing, as well as 24-hour study rooms, conference and exhibition spaces, changing rooms, and offices. The upper floor will house the Arguineguín Municipal Library, which will include children's and youth areas, reference rooms, a computer area, and specialized storage facilities.
Designed to maximize natural light and ensure optimal ventilation, the building will also feature terraces on both floors and will be fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.
With this award, the Mogán City Council takes a firm step toward strengthening Arguineguín's cultural and educational offerings, creating a modern and functional space that will enhance local talent.
