As a significant milestone, the successful completion of the first medical teleconsultation through specially adapted telemedicine equipment, opening a new stage in access to specialized medical care in the region.

The project, currently in a pilot phase for three months, contemplates the provision of Remote consultations by specialists from San Roque University Hospitals in various clinical areas. The goal is to streamline diagnoses, optimize treatments, and ensure more effective continuity of care for Mauritanian patients.

The head of International Strategy at San Roque University Hospitals, Yurena Rivero, Noted that "This alliance represents a firm step toward sustainable, supportive healthcare cooperation based on knowledge transfer among professionals. It is a tangible example of how technology and humanitarian commitment can contribute to improving global health.".
