The San Bartolomé de Tirajana Festivities and Events Department invites residents and visitors to enjoy the main events in honor of the patron saint, Saint Bartholomew. From Thursday, August 21st to Sunday, August 24th, Tunte will host activities for the whole family that combine popular culture, religious devotion, and live music.
Friday 22nd: Concerts and night party
On Friday the 22nd, music will be the center of attention. At 22:00 p.m., the plaza hosts the highly anticipated concert. “Damn EGB”, which will have the audience singing and dancing to hits from several generations. At midnight, the party will continue with a musical performance by Pedro Afonso.
Saturday 23rd: Livestock Fair and Carbonero Descent
Saturday, August 23 will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Livestock Fair 2025 in the parking lot next to the Hacienda del Molino, where specimens of different breeds will be exhibited and prizes will be awarded to participants.
In the afternoon, at 18:00 p.m., the 25th Anniversary of the Traditional Carbonero Descent, accompanied by the Agaete Band, in an act charged with emotion and collective memory.
The day will culminate at 23:00 p.m. with the musical show of D'Music, Harmony Show and DJ.
Sunday 24th: Saint Bartholomew's Day
On Sunday, August 24, the main day of the festivities, it will begin at 05:00 a.m. with the Diana Floreada accompanied by the Banda Isleña.
In the 12: 00 hours will be held Mass in Honor of Saint Bartholomew, followed by traditional procession, accompanied by the Estefanía Little Band. The festive day will continue at 14:00 p.m. with the Traditional Canarian Sancocho, which will follow Verbena Solajera “August Rains” with Star Music from 15:00 hours.
In the afternoon, at 20:30 p.m., a presentation will be made Tribute to Clara Mejías Rodríguez (Kuki), a beloved neighbor in the community. The final touch will come at 21:00 p.m. with humor and music: the performance of comedian Matías Alonso and the Bellagio Trio, which will put an end to the patron saint festivities.
