The ranking of the top 100 companies in the province of Las Palmas in 2024 reveals a robust economic fabric in southern Gran Canaria, where power is concentrated in the energy, commercial distribution, and automotive sectors. At the top, the Italian company Unión Eléctrica de Canarias Generación SA remains the undisputed leader, with an impressive turnover of €1.868.442.000. In second place, and holding its position, is Hiperdino (Dinosol Supermercados SL), with €1.465.996.000. Binter Canarias SA follows, moving up one place to third, with a turnover of €319.716.600. The Domingo Alonso automotive group demonstrates its strength, with its limited company rising five places to fourth place, with €5, and its Gran Canaria division rising four places to 308.275.971th, with €20.

The middle of the table is dominated by a mix of sectors. Coop Farmacéutica Canaria (Cofarca) drops two places to fifth, with €2, closely followed by Sarton Canarias SA (Ikea), which also drops one place to sixth with €304.544.715. Maritime transport remains crucial, with Boluda Lines SA in seventh place (€299.353.730) and Naviera Armas SA in eighth (€256.137.848), although both dropped one place. Numerous hotel chains make their mark in the ranking, such as Servatur SA in 33rd place (€81.017.622), Fuert Can SL in 36th place (€77.178.150), and Seaside Hotels SL in 65th place (€50.479.000). Construction and port services also feature prominently, with companies such as Astilleros Canarios SA (Laskadiris) in 22nd place (€110.428.754) and the Port Authority of Las Palmas in 37th place (€77.099.260).

Other companies from different sectors complete the list, reflecting the diversity of the local economy. Grupo Kalise SA is in 42nd place (€70.175.919), and Aguas Minerales de Firgas SA is in 79th place (€44.545.801). Construction companies Lopesan Asfaltos y Construcciones SA (€42.167.746) and SATOCAN SA (€55.316.400) are in 86th and 60th place, respectively. Finally, companies such as Clínica San Roque SA (€47.857.000) and Clínica de Urgencia Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro (€41.821.091) demonstrate the importance of the private healthcare sector in the island's economy.
