Tourin Europeo SA, the parent company of the Gloria Thalasso & Hotels group, has consolidated an enviable financial position within the Canary Islands tourism sector. The company, active since 1982 and headquartered in San Agustín, has reached a net worth of €220,91 million, an increase of 17,3% compared to the previous year, placing it among the most financially sound companies in the archipelago.

The growth in equity was driven by revenue exceeding €74,37 million, up 14% compared to 2022, and net profit of €20,56 million, reflecting sustained profitability even in an environment of rising costs for the sector.

The company, which employs 701 people (it has also grown in this area) and operates 10 branches, is currently under the strategic management of Arantxa Mañaricua, a key figure in the well-known hotel family that has shaped the development of tourism in southern Gran Canaria.

In terms of equity, Tourin Europeo SA stands at nearly 219,29 million euros, allowing it to maintain a liquidity ratio of 5 times and a solvency ratio of 6 times, levels that provide peace of mind to suppliers and investors. Its short-term debt stands at just 9,44 million euros, compared to total assets of 262,80 million euros, reinforcing its low-risk profile.

The working capital, at 42,41 million euros, underscores its ability to meet immediate commitments, while the payment policy remains stable with an average payment period of 59 days and an average collection period of 16 days, reflecting prudent cash management.

With an economic return on investment (ROI) of 8% and a financial return on investment (ROE) of 9%, Tourin Europeo SA has established itself as a key player in the tourism industry in southern Gran Canaria, demonstrating that strengthening its own resources remains the best guarantee of resilience in the face of the sector's fluctuations.
