A rear-end collision on the GC-1 motorway, heading towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, caused significant traffic jams on Monday after four vehicles were involved in the accident.
The accident occurred near the exit of the second tunnel from Arguineguín, in the municipality of Mogán. An Emeral ambulance arrived at the scene to treat the occupants of the vehicles involved.
One of them was transferred to the Roca Clinic in San Bartolomé de Tirajana due to neck pain, while the rest of the affected patients did not require medical attention, according to emergency services.
The accident caused traffic jams in both lanes of the GC-1 until the vehicles were removed and traffic was restored to normal.
