The media was part of the Fish On! crew to experience the excitement of the event in person.
The magazine Mares, specialized in nautical news, collaborated with Gran Canaria Blue to experience first-hand the V Gran Canaria International Deep Sea Fishing Open which was held from August 28 to 30. The search for the prized Blue Marlin brought together 45 boats, 17 of them from outside Gran Canaria, who enjoyed two intense days of fishing.
The charter Fish On! welcomed the representative of the industry, inviting him to participate with them on the first day. The strong currents of recent months and the summer heat, unfavorable conditions for weevil fishing, complicated sightings and increased catches. However, this added excitement and anticipation to the competition.
