The Pérez Bolaños group, associated with the supermarket chain, raised 1.000 euros for Cáritas to cover the food needs of vulnerable families.
SPAR Gran Canaria has donated a total of €1.000 to Cáritas, raised through the sale of 2.000 bracelets, thanks to the charity campaign held each year in SPAR stores in the municipality of Agüimes. This fifth edition featured a special design dedicated to the Vará del Pescao (Fish Vault), in which eight participating businesses participated.
The Pérez Bolaños group store team, associated with SPAR Gran Canaria and participating in this charity initiative, presented a check for €1.000 to representatives of the Cáritas Agüimes organization at the SPAR Zoco Negro store in Arinaga. They were accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Óscar Hernández Suárez, and the Councilor for Social Welfare and Equality, Eva Matilde López Cazorla.
This social support initiative was made possible thanks to the close relationship between the Pérez Bolaños group and the Social Welfare Department of the Agüimes City Council. The funds raised will be used to cover the food needs of families seeking assistance at the three Cáritas locations in the Gran Canaria municipality.
