The latest Construplan filings with the Las Palmas Commercial Registry reveal a series of corporate movements that signal a shift in the operations of businessman Santiago Quintana González. What at first glance might appear to be a resignation or withdrawal is actually a methodical reorganization to centralize control and diversify the business in the construction and communications sectors.
The most significant change has occurred at Construplan. According to the registrations dated September 4, 2025, sole administrator Santiago Quintana González has resigned from his position. However, his departure from direct administration is only one step in a larger strategy. The position has been assumed by another company, Progecón (primarily dedicated to the billboard business), of which Santiago Quintana himself has been appointed representative. This move allows Quintana to exercise control over Construplan indirectly, through a holding company that has experienced significant growth.
Progecon's records confirm its new importance. The company carried out a capital increase in February 2025, increasing its capital by €44.400,00 to a total of €194.400,00. This financial reinforcement is accompanied by a fundamental change in its corporate purpose in April 2025: it will now dedicate itself to the administration, management, operation, and management of companies. This new purpose, coupled with the recent appointment of long-standing auditors OG & Asociados as its auditor, consolidates Progecon as the new key player in Quintana's business.
The new structure is completed with two partial spin-offs of Construplan, of which Progecon is the beneficiary. This transaction, recorded in separate registrations, suggests a transfer of assets and business lines from the construction company to the management company.
But the scope of this strategy is not limited to construction. The expansion of Progecon's corporate purpose also included advertising and commercials, a branch that has gained momentum with the recent incorporation of a new company. In May 2025, Santiago Quintana González, as sole administrator, founded AGCE, a company dedicated to the creation and management of advertising media. This new entity, with a share capital of €3.000,00, aligns perfectly with the company's diversification and demonstrates that the recent moves are part of a comprehensive plan.
