Alejandro Marichal: "The goal of this new phase is to consolidate Coalición Canaria as the leading political force in the municipality and prepare a friendly pre-campaign, focused on people and the real problems of the residents."

The Canary Islands Coalition (CC) party in San Bartolomé de Tirajana held a vote to renew its Local Secretariat, a process that concluded with the unanimous reelection of Alejandro Marichal as the party's local secretary for the next four years.

Voting took place in two rounds and was unanimously supported: 100% of the votes cast were in favor of Marichal's candidacy, thus reaffirming the membership's confidence in his leadership.

After the results were announced, Marichal thanked the members for their participation and the exemplary conduct of the event. He emphasized that the high turnout and unanimous support "are a demonstration of the membership's commitment to the future of Coalición Canaria in San Bartolomé de Tirajana and to the strength of the project we are building together."

The local secretary announced that the new executive committee will be composed of 33 people, with a "broad and representative" composition. He emphasized that nearly 10% of the membership will be part of this body, and that more than half of its members do not hold positions in local government. "We want to strengthen the role of the membership and give the party a greater role in street work and in preparing for the next election in 2027," he stated.

Marichal stated that the goal of this new phase is to consolidate Coalición Canaria as the leading political force in San Bartolomé de Tirajana and to prepare "a close-knit pre-campaign, focused on people and the municipality's real problems."

"We're going to work on the streets, listen to the residents, and present proposals that will allow us to continue moving forward. This executive committee is the engine that will lead us to win the next municipal elections in 2027," the local secretary concluded.

During the event, several members explained why they considered Marichal the best option to lead the Canary Islands Coalition project in the municipality. They emphasized his "200%" commitment to defending the interests of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and the Canary Islands, as well as his management skills within the municipal government.

"Alejandro's leadership has allowed the party to gain exponential support in recent years. His work, especially on key issues like housing for young people, demonstrates that he is the best alternative to continue governing our municipality," the members emphasized.
