Escudería Maspalomas is already preparing a spectacular 52nd edition of its rally, which will return to the CCRA (Canary Islands Championship) and the Canary Islands Rally Trophy in 2025, in addition to continuing in the BP Las Palmas Championship, the Las Palmas Regularity Sport Championship, and several regional and provincial promotional cups and trophies. The dates are October 31st and November 1st, with the venue in Meloneras, start and finish at Plaza del Faro Maspalomas, and a Saturday itinerary consisting of nine timed stages (three different).
The new route covers familiar stretches in the southeast, the summit of Gran Canaria, and the village of Tunte. It consists of three sections with three different triple-pass sections, comprising 86,15 timed kilometers of the total 349,15-km route, which accounts for almost 25% of the route.
The selected special stages are: SS1, SS4, and SS7 "Era del Cardón-Agüimes" (9,2 km), which will run at 9:30 a.m., 13:50 p.m., and 6:20 p.m.; SS2, SS5, and SS8 "Cazadores-La Cumbre" (11,4 km), at 10:30 a.m., 18:50 p.m., and 14:20 p.m.; and SS3, SS19, and SS9 "Ayacata-San Bartolomé" (10,3 km), at 11:10 a.m., 15:30 p.m., and 20:00 p.m.

The entire rally operation will be centered near Expo-Meloneras, where the rally office, vehicle checks will be located (Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and the service park + regrouping, with the start ceremonies (8:00 p.m.) on Friday and the finish/trophy presentation ceremony (9:40 p.m.) in the nearby Plaza del Faro in Maspalomas.
Following the rally prelude and the ceremonial start on the evening of Friday, October 31, Saturday's competition day begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes with the final finish at the Lighthouse at 9:00 p.m. The trophy ceremony will then follow. In addition to the nine special stages, the rally caravan will stop twice in Meloneras for technical assistance, starting at 12:05 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. on Saturday.
The historic Maspalomas rally is expected to boast a large entry as the closing event of the CCRA and most of the rally championships, where several titles will surely be decided. To this end, the San Bartolomé de Tirajana team offers a simple yet selective route, where participating teams can outperform each other on each pass through the timed sections, ensuring the excitement of the various races continues until the final finish.
Last year, the fight for victory was very close and Armide Martín-Pedro Domínguez finally won with the Skoda Fabia R5, followed on the podium by their teammates Luis Monzón-José Carlos Déniz (Citroen C3 Rally2) and a third place for Iván Armas-Tino Guerra with the Porsche 911 GT3.
The Maspaloma event also counts towards the Canary Islands Junior Trophy, the FALP Promotion Trophy, the Rally4 Cup Canarias, the Clio Trophy Canarias, the Toyota-Enma-2RM Trophy, the Faroga 1.6-Pastelería La Madera Cup, the FALP 2026 Steering Wheel, and the N3 Cup.
Registration opens on October 1st and closes on October 22nd. Registration is available through the rally website and the VMRM website, where all the details of the rally will soon be published. This website will be the official website for online tracking of the event, times, and classifications.
