A total of 50 local producers will meet at the Km.0 Gran Canaria - Sureste Fair, which will be held on September 27 and 28, 2025, from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., on Avenida de Canarias in Vecindario (Santa Lucía).
Avenida de Canarias will host the 32nd edition of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair. This fair was founded in the southeast of Gran Canaria in 2020 and has since become a showcase for agricultural and food products produced in Gran Canaria.
The Fair will feature more than 60% of producers from the Southeast, who will be joined by a selection of producers from other municipalities.
The southeast is known for its production of salt, oil and olives, cheese, honey, wine, bread, beer, milk, plants, and flowers. In addition, the Fair will be enriched with numerous stands selling fruit and vegetables, jams, pastries, coffee, free-range eggs, mushrooms, microgreens, aloe vera, sugarcane juice, empanadas, juices, cider, ice cream, and more.
It's worth noting that some of the participating producers have received recognition for their quality at the major agri-food competitions held in the Canary Islands in recent years, with particular emphasis on the awards received by cheese factories in the municipalities that form part of the Southeast Community.
The objectives of the Km.O Gran Canaria Fair are to boost the local economy, raise awareness and promote the consumption of local products, foster sustainable habits, and support those who help preserve the landscape.
For this occasion, the organizers of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair will once again create a festive atmosphere, creating a sense of closeness between visitors and producers.
COINCIDENCE WITH THE SUN FAIR
This year's Km.O Gran Canaria Fair is being held in conjunction with the Feria del Sol (Sun Fair), a fair that the Southeast Gran Canaria Community (Mancomunidad del Sureste de Gran Canaria) hopes to raise awareness of the need to develop sustainable behaviors among the residents of the three municipalities, as well as the rest of the island's inhabitants.
This edition of the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair is promoted by the Mancomunidad del Sureste and has the collaboration of the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria, Tourism of Gran Canaria, the Canary Islands Institute of Agri-Food Quality of the Government of the Canary Islands (ICCA) and
Cajasiete.
