The double-header event of the Las Palmas Hill Climb Championship will feature 67 participating vehicles on the Fataga and San Bartolomé climbs this Saturday, October 4th, confirming the excitement of an event that once again attracts the best drivers.
Escudería Maspalomas is organizing this double-header event with two classic events on the calendar: the 4,4-kilometer Climb of Fataga and the 4,5-kilometer Climb of San Bartolomé. Both competitions will take place this Saturday, October 4th, starting at 9:00 a.m. in Fataga and at 14:30 p.m. in San Bartolomé. Pre-race scrutineering will take place on Friday afternoon, October 3rd, in the village of Fataga, from 17:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.
The official list confirms the participation of 30 drivers in the Speed category, 25 teams in Regularity Sport, and 12 in Formula Rally. In the Touring Car category, names such as Iván Armas with the Porsche 911, Alexis Santana with the Renault 5 GT Turbo, Noé Armas with the Renault Clio Rally4, and Juan Betancort with his Toyota Corolla TC stand out, all of them contenders for the final podium. In the Barqueta category, Javier Rodríguez and Miguel Cabral are leading figures after their triumphs in the last edition.
The two climbs will also count toward the FALP Promotion Trophy, the RS TH Canarias Cup, the BMW Power Cup, and the Sport-Car Home Services Trophy Regularity Championship. With 67 entries, the event will once again be a benchmark for motorsports in Gran Canaria and promises a spectacle of speed and excitement on the roads of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
