AEMET forecasts a week from October 5th to 12th marked by predominant trade winds and a mild atmosphere in the south and southeast of Gran Canaria. Light haze could appear, and the sea will experience moderate swell conditions.

Next week, between Sunday, October 5 and Sunday, October 12, 2025, stable weather will continue in the south and southeast of Gran Canaria, with northeasterly trade winds predominating, partly cloudy skies, and pleasant temperatures. Highs will range between 27 and 30 degrees, with slightly higher temperatures in coastal areas of the southeast, while lows will range between 22 and 24 degrees.

AEMET Canarias has not ruled out the presence of light to moderate calima for several days, especially at the beginning and middle of the week, which could reduce visibility and leave a somewhat warmer atmosphere. Regarding the wind, moderate trade winds with strong intensity intervals are expected in exposed areas of the southeast and mid-mountains, with gusts that could reach 40 km/h.

Sea conditions will generally remain moderate along the southern and southeastern coasts, with waves of 1,5 to 2 meters, and somewhat calmer in sheltered areas. Skies will be clear or with intervals of high clouds, with no significant rain forecast for the week.

In northern Gran Canaria, forecasts call for more low cloud cover in the early hours of the day due to the humidity brought by the trade winds. Somewhat milder temperatures are expected, with highs between 25 and 28 degrees, and lows around 20 to 22 degrees, with no significant precipitation.
