The incident occurred around 23:00 p.m. on September 30, when the passenger requested a ride and, upon arriving at his destination, attacked the driver.
La Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) has proceeded to the arrest of a 36-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a violent robbery of a taxi driver en Vecindario, located in the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
The attack, which took place on the night of September 30, occurred while the victim was on duty at his taxi. Over here 23 pm, a passenger requested a ride to a street in Vecindario. The taxi driver tried to chase the perpetrator of the robbery, but when she found herself in a little-traveled area and not being able to call for help immediately, he was unable to reach him. However, thanks to the images captured by the security cameras installed in the vehicle, the Civil Guard agents were able to verify the aggression and identify the person responsible.
From this information, the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) located and arrested the suspect, who was placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court No. 2 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana together with the proceedings carried out.
