It will be held on November 1 and 2 at Parque del Sur. The Department of Commerce invites all interested companies in the sector to participate.

The Department of Commerce of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council will organize the "Mas Comercio SBT" Trade Fair on November 1 and 2 in the Parque Urbano del Sur (South Urban Park) as a boost for the pre-Christmas season.

"With this activity, we aim to highlight and promote the municipality's commercial entrepreneurship. We estimate that the exhibition will feature around 50 stands representing the municipality's different types of businesses," says Councilor for Commerce Araceli Armas Cruz.

The City Council's intention is to make this fair a leading commercial event, which is why the Department of Commerce is inviting all businesses interested in participating. The deadline for registration is October 22nd. Those interested should notify the following email address: ppgad@pucrs.br, or through the City Hall switchboard at 928.723.400 and extension 1711. The Fair is funded by the General Directorate of Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands.

A family experience

The Department of Commerce aims for "Mas Comercio SBT" to be not just an exhibition space where participating businesses can showcase and generate sales and revenue, but rather an experience for the whole family, with themed areas, interactive activities, music, food, and meeting spaces. "We want fairgoers—both the local community and visitors and tourists of all ages—to enjoy it as a journey through different environments, discovering the best of local commerce and services in a dynamic, engaging, and festive way," says Araceli Armas.

The fair will be held on Saturday, November 1st, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sunday, November 2nd, from 22:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. In addition to the shopping avenue, the event will feature a family area, "Peque Emprende," dedicated to the little ones, with various craft and game workshops, and the "Peque Profesionales" educational and recreational tent. There will also be a gastronomic boulevard with several food trucks operating during the fair, and a wellness area offering various sessions of yoga, Zumba, Pilates, salsa, and Latin dance, among other physical activities. The program of activities includes musical performances by local groups and artists and a fashion show.
