The Civil Guard is investigating a brutal fight that occurred in the early hours of October 5th outside a nightclub in Santa Lucía de Tirajana.

 

La Civil Guard of the Main Post of Vecindario investigates a serious accident occurred during the early hours of October 5 in the municipality of Santa Lucia de Tirajana, in Gran Canaria. The incident, which took place near a leisure establishment, left several people injured after a violent fight in the street.

 

At approximately 00:45 a.m., officers received a call about a large fight outside a nightclub. Upon arriving, they found a shirtless man, covered in blood and visibly shaken, with a wound to his right cheekbone. The injured man was uncooperative, simply explaining that he had been in an argument with several individuals.

He stated that he had only tried to break up the fight, but ended up receiving several cuts. Medical staff confirmed the severity of the injuries: the victim had a wound of about fifteen centimeters in the chest, so she was rushed to the Insular Hospital to undergo surgery. Given these facts, the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil) He considered it to be a possible felony charge of bodily harm. The victim was informed of his right to file a complaint and expressed his intention to do so after being discharged from the hospital. Later, a third injured man went to the hospital with minor cuts, but ultimately decided not to file a complaint.

After speaking with his entourage and reviewing the amount of evidence against him, the suspect opted to voluntarily surrender to the Civil Guard.
