San Roque University Hospitals, the first hospital in the Canary Islands to certify patient experience

The certification was awarded last Thursday, October 24th, in Madrid, during the SECA National Congress, to three members of the Patient Experience team.

 

San Roque University Hospitals (HUSR) becomes the first hospital in the Canary Islands in obtaining the Certification as a Patient Experience-Centered Organization, in accordance with international standards Patients First, endorsed by the Spanish Society for Healthcare Quality (SECA) and the Institute for Patient Experience (IEXP).

 

The award was officially presented at the XLI National Congress of the SECAheld in Madrid. Representing the extensive Patient Experience team at HUSR, they accepted the diploma Fabio ColamarinoOriol Santana y Yurena Rivero, who expressed their gratitude for this milestone on behalf of all the staff.

This certification verifies that HUSR complies with eight key dimensions in terms of patient experience, and consolidates its commitment to a healthcare model where people are the central focus of every decision and every process:
