A 65-year-old man suffered serious multiple injuries after falling into a ditch approximately three meters deep in a ravine in Puerto Rico, Mogán. The injured man was rescued and taken to the University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
A 65-year-old man was seriously injured after falling into an irrigation ditch in a ravine in the municipality of Mogán, in the village of Puerto Rico. The incident occurred at 23:47 p.m. and prompted a response from several emergency services.
The injured man was initially treated by the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), whose medical personnel confirmed that he had suffered severe multiple injuries. After being stabilized at the scene, he was transferred by ambulance to the University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
According to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2, the call reported a man had fallen into an irrigation ditch approximately three meters deep. Emergency personnel from the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, Mogán Civil Protection, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police were dispatched to the scene and assisted in the rescue and care of the injured man.
The operation involved the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, Mogán Civil Protection, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) with a medical ambulance and a basic life support ambulance, as well as the Local Police and Civil Guard, who ensured safety and coordination during the rescue.
