With just a month to go before it opens, Planeta Gran Canaria has announced the dates for its most special edition yet. This year, Gran Canaria's quintessential family festival celebrates its 25th anniversary, from December 26th to January 4th, reaffirming its status as one of the island's most beloved meeting points.
Since its inception in the late 1990s, Planeta Gran Canaria has pursued the goal of offering a space where families could enjoy dozens of educational and entertaining activities during this special time of year. And that goal has been more than fulfilled. Over these 25 years, Planeta Gran Canaria has watched many children from the island grow up, eagerly beginning their Christmas holidays with an event specially designed for them, where the activities were always more fun because they shared them with their siblings, cousins, or the friends they met along the way.
Today, many of those children are now parents themselves, and it's their turn to experience that same magic through the eyes of their children, whom Planeta Gran Canaria will continue to surprise. This Christmas more than ever, Infecar, the Gran Canaria Trade Fair, will once again be transformed into a giant play area, where fun, learning, and wonder will create a playground where they can dream of the magic of Christmas.
Creative and educational workshops, children's theater, inflatables, multi-adventure areas, a children's play area for the youngest members of the family… Planeta Gran Canaria offers a wide range of activities for family fun during these school holidays. But this year, there will also be exciting new additions to celebrate this special edition: more space for sports activities, musical performances for children with Superabuela, a car simulator, and a performance by YouTuber and content creator Invictor, one of the founding members of Los Compas, among many other things.
At Planeta Gran Canaria, there will also be rest and dining areas so families can make the most of the fair. And to ensure all children can enjoy all the activities without limits, Infecar will once again adapt these experiences to meet the needs of children requiring special attention.
