The Department of Urban Planning ofThe San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council has granted the license for the complete renovation of the Tajaraste tourist complex, located on Calle Finlandia in Playa del Inglés, a project that will involve an investment of 687.365,60 Euros aimed at thoroughly modernizing its 34 bungalowsThe project includes improving all common areas and completely updating the establishment's facilities. It also includes... main pool modification and construction of four new swimming poolsThis will significantly improve the quality of the complex and its competitiveness within the municipality's tourism offerings.
The proposal includes a series of renovations encompassing the aesthetic and functional refurbishment of the bungalows, the updating of electrical and plumbing systems, the replacement of windows and doors, improved accessibility, the modernization of exterior features, and the adaptation of common areas to current standards of efficiency and comfort. Regarding the swimming pools, the project includes a technical redesign of the main pool and the installation of four separate pools, in line with new trends in the tourism sector. The project complies with all current planning regulations and does not alter the original building volume or increase height, buildable area, or occupancy, as it is located in Consolidated Urban Land with tourist use, bungalow type.

Modernizing our establishments is essential to remaining a competitive destination, and the Urban Planning Department is working to ensure these private investments move forward with speed, transparency, and legal certainty,” Marichal stated.
The file details that the project has a budget of 499.165,98 Euros for the renovation of the bungalows and common areas, and 188.199,62 Euros for the work on the main pool and the four new pools.

The key is that it is a comprehensive improvement that updates all the facilities and spaces, increases security and energy efficiency, and repositions the establishment, while fully respecting urban planning parameters and the regulations of the tourist area. It is a clear example of how existing structures can be renovated without generating additional impacts on the environment.”
With this authorization, the City Council is promoting a new action that contributes to the strategy of Improvement and modernization of the accommodation facilities in Playa del Inglés, reinforcing the quality of the destination, generating employment in the construction sector and promoting a more attractive, up-to-date and competitive tourist environment.
